Blue Stone
As Father Miguel Domingo Fuertes Loren strolled along the shores of the Caribbean Sea in 1916, he encountered beautiful blue-and-white stones that had long since tumbled down from the Bahoruco mountains, washed into the sea, and been named la piedra azul (the blue stone) by locals.
These Blue Stones were actually fragments of ultra rare blue volcanic minerals. Years later, these stones were rediscovered, mined, and re-named Larimar.
No matter the name, locals have been using the magical healing powers of these precious blue-and-white stones for millennia—clearing blockages and headaches, re-harmonizing energy, healing pain and emotional trauma, and opening the throat chakra.
This unique 11x15mm stone has a gorgeous vein-like pattern and oblong shape. It is set in a sterling silver ring mount, crafted to fit size 7.5 (USA).
